Home Renovation in Maunu, Whangarei

leon silbyWe carried out this renovation on a lovely spacious 1980’s property in Maunu, Whangarei, previously being a rental our client decided it was time to renovate and bring a more modern feel to their home, with a wedding just around the corner we had a deadline to work to as the couple’s plan was to move into their newly renovated home shortly after.

Leon was passionate about being part of this project and being involved where ever he could. Leon engaged us to carry out the carpentry work and also to provide some guidance along the way. The interior of the main downstairs living areas were demolished and relined, installation of a modern look through gas fire replaced the old wood burner, a bar area installed and a brand new kitchen.

The timber tongue and groove ceilings were painted white in the small dining area off the kitchen which worked in well with their theme. The downstairs bathroom was gutted and fully tiled with a large walk-in shower and a bathtub installed. Laminate flooring was laid throughout the entry, kitchen and dining/entertainment area which was a great feature to the home keeping with that modern look.

Our client was very happy with our carpentry work and communication throughout this project and wouldn’t hesitate to approach us again, and yes we met the deadline for these clients who moved in shortly after their special day.

We allow flexibility with our clients and like them to be involved in their project which was achieved for this home renovation.
